Crafting for Pleasure: Reclaiming Pleasure Through Crafting and Conversation, a Survivor-Centred Space, with PEARS

SEC and PEARS (@thepearsproject) present Crafting for Pleasure: Reclaiming Pleasure Through Crafting and Conversation, a Survivor-Centred Space. This crafting for pleasure event will combine pottery/clay crafting and conversations about pleasure, joy, and care after trauma or violence. This space is open to anyone who identifies as a survivor, victim, or has experienced any form of gender based violence or trauma. We will play with clay together, eat dinner, and engage in loosely facilitated conversations by survivors. We will have peer supporters available as well as resources and care kits!

This event is welcome to anyone who identifies as a survivor, victim, or has experienced any form of gender based violence or trauma, however we have a limited capacity so we will be prioritizing Indigenous, racialized, queer, and disabled survivors to support and center marginalized groups.

Please pre-register for the event at this link!
