The Toronto Symposium on Sex and Sexuality is an interdisciplinary conference on topics related to sex, sexuality, and sexual health, taking place on February 10th, 2025 from 9:30 am - 5:00 pm in support of Sexual Health Awareness Week 2025. The University of Toronto Sexual Education Centre (SEC) has invited 8 community members and students to present their research, with a special Keynote presentation by feminist philosopher Dr. Ellie Anderson (of @overthink_pod ).

Our focus is on creating an academic space for non-mainstream knowledge presented by individuals who are marginalized by current systems of power in academia (people of the global majority, queer, trans and two spirit people, first generation students, undergraduates, nonacademics, and disabled people). This event is fully accessible and hybrid via zoom webinar.
